When I launched Stockroom Vintage earlier this year, I had a laser focus on building a massive, carefully curated inventory of vintage loveliness. As I built that inventory and imagined all the big things I wanted for Stockroom, I never envisioned that it would be a platform for me to meet (and totally fall in love with!) so many amazingly talented and creative people.
I’ve met so many gems, in fact, that I just had to launch this new feature so I can share my girl crushes with you. Really, these ladies are just too sweet and sparkly to keep to myself. I hope you adore them as much as I do! So, meet Jamie, my first girl crush. That’s her and hubby Andy above at their Loveless Cafe engagement shoot, which was fittingly featured on Ashley’s Bride Guide. Jamie styled the snowy shoot and added tons of cute crafty touches. (You’ll totally coo over Jamie and Andy–it’s clear that these two are utterly smitten.)

If you’ve ever shopped the Tennessee Antique Mall (and, really, you should–it’s packed to the brim with great, affordable pieces), you may have noticed Jamie’s booth, Owl Really. When Jamie first reached out for a coffee date, she was all, “You don’t know me, but…” I laughed because of course I knew her. Owl Really is always my first stop at the antique mall.
Her curated selection of quirky vintage finds, everything from pretty dresses and bags to typewriters and other retro home decor, is absolutely irresistible. Jamie is obsessed with thrifting and vintage hunting–a lady after my own heart–which means her stock is always fresh and oh-so covetable. You can see photos and get updates on Owl Really here. And, today is the one-year anniversary of her booth, so serious congrats and confetti are in order.

Aside from all those mad vintage shopping skills, Jamie is just a genuine sweetheart. At our first coffee date when she asked me what my dream couch would be (a vintage, buttery leather chesterfield, naturally!), I knew I liked her. And when we both shared stories of our vintage dreams and cried into our coffees (emotional ladies!), I knew we’d be friends.
I can’t talk about Jamie without mentioning her beautiful Nashville wedding, which was also featured by Ashley’s Bride Guide. Jamie nabbed most of the decor items for her simple, folksy vintage wedding from the local pay-by-the-pound Goodwill Outlet, which I call “the bins” because, well, that’s what you dig through to find your treasures. You must check out Jamie’s wedding post for her take on the heartfelt ceremony, the handmade touches and those amazing succulents featured throughout her potluck dessert reception. It’s really just so incredibly gorgeous. And trust me, it’s just one of many great things to come from this talented Nashville lady!
