Happy Monday! Did you have a great weekend? Today my hubby and I celebrate our first wedding anniversary. We said our vows on a steamy July day in my brother’s lovely San Antonio home with about 35 of our dearest friends and family members there to cheer us on. It was the very first Stockroom Vintage wedding! I could blather on and on about the details (wedding obsessed much?!), but I’ll just direct any interested parties to The Budget Savvy Bride post about our wedding. You can check out my post about it, too.
I won’t get too mushy (though I did include some lyrics from “You and I,” the Ingrid Michaelson song that played while we walked down the aisle–I couldn’t help myself!). But I will say thanks to Will, my sweet and ever patient hubby, who trudges through hundreds of flea markets and thrift stores with me without as much as an eye roll. In the early days of Stockroom Vintage, he reminded me on the regular that my dream was worthwhile–and doable. He is, by far, the best man on the planet. (Don’t we all think that about our significant others? I hope so!) Not to mention, he has the sweetest dance moves and makes one mean pot of gumbo. It’s the little things, you know? - Elizabeth
