Maybe it’s the school supply nerd in me. Or maybe it’s the part of me that still longs for the days when I spent all of my allowance on Lisa Frank stationary and Hello Kitty goodies at the Sanrio Surprise store in the mall. I really can’t resist bright, beautiful paper products. That’s why, even when I was hurriedly putting the finishing touches on Stockroom’s styled lounge areas at Porter Flea, I stopped dead in my tracks in front of the Jam + Toast booth to introduce myself to Elle McCann, the designer of this unique line of local paper goods.
Jam + Toast designs are so full of color and feature the most cheery modern prints. Don’t you just love those watercolor invitations? So beautiful and painterly! And Elle’s photo styling for the entire line really deserves a high five. She had me at gumballs and chevron.
