I’m not exactly big on holiday decor. Especially not traditional holiday decor. I’m not a Grinch per se. (I mean, I love me a pretty vintage tinsel Christmas tree!) But there isn’t a lot about Halloween decor that inspires me. Then a lovely new friend, Jenna of Kitty Cat Stevens (who also happens to be Stockroom’s newest team member!) shared these pretty pumpkins. And I saw a whole new world of pumpkin possibility. Gold leaf? Neon ombré?! Now you’re speaking my language!
Don’t you just love these no-carve pumpkin alternatives? Slice ‘em, paint ‘em white and fill ‘em with pink blooms. Douse them in pink petal dust. Yep, I’m ready to go rogue and skip traditional Halloween colors altogether. But I will eat a handful of those super sweet candy corn pumpkins. You’ve got to draw this whole “bucking tradition” line somewhere. - Elizabeth
