Stockroom Vintage is starting the new year with a sweet dose of good news: We’re featured in the premier issue of Flea Market Style Weddings! I always squeal when I see Stockroom Vintage in print, but this feature is beyond thrilling for me. First, this is a national magazine, so it’s on newsstands, like, everywhere.
But circulation aside, I’ve been a huge fan of Flea Market Style since the first issue hit stands years ago. (You may remember my announcement that I’ll also be featured in an upcoming issue of Flea Market Style very soon!) So when senior editor Christine Hofmann-Bourque asked me if I’d be interested in sharing some vintage shopping advice with new brides in the first issue of Flea Market Style Weddings, I was crazy giddy!
In the two-page spread, I shared some hard-won advice on buying wedding decor items in bulk. I spilled all about popular wedding decor items–everything from milk glass vases and apothecary bottles to brass candlesticks, frames, teacups and more–and the best places to find them for cheap (flea market? thrift stores? estate sales?) and what brides should expect to pay for them. And the layout? Gorgeous! The spread is filled with succulents placed in old cold cream jars–seriously swoon-worthy. I’m telling you…the entire magazine is just as beautiful.
Seeing my name + my business name in print still gives me chills. Can I add the title of “veteran shopper” to my business cards? Officially dying with excitement. I would share photos of the whole spread here, but really, you should pick up a copy of your very own. There is just so much vintage loveliness packed into one magazine, I’d hate for you to miss out on the chance to tuck into the magazine with a cup of tea. You can find a list of retailers here. And you can enter to win a free copy here!
The first issue of Flea Market Style Weddings is officially on newsstands across the country. Oh, and Nashville friends, I even found a hefty stack in the magazine aisle at Kroger–and, yeah, I totally took a picture. Seeing Flea Market Style Weddings next to Martha Stewart Weddings was just a surreal moment, okay?! Thanks to Christine and the Flea Market Style team for inviting me into their world. It’s been such a dream! I can’t wait to share Stockroom’s appearance in the next issue of Flea Market Style with you all soon! – Elizabeth
