Today is such a big day around here! Stockroom Vintage is one year old! One year ago today, I officially launched the site and shared my favorite, biggest idea with the world. Also, it just so happens that five years ago today my husband and I had our first date (eeeeee!). So, yeah, you could say it’s a pretty special day.
When I look back on it all, I’m still so in awe of what has happened this first year. I’m beyond grateful that so many Nashville brides, wedding vendors, event planners, photographers and fellow vintage lovers–people who were once total strangers who I now count as friends–embraced Stockroom Vintage (and me!). And the love and recognition we’ve received from publications and vintage mavens that I’ve always admired–I’m talking to you, Flea Market Style Magazine, Flea Market Style Weddings and the entire Ki Nassauer/Junk Revolution team–has been more encouraging than I could express.
I’m taking the day to celebrate with some sprinkle-covered cupcakes, champagne and dinner out with my hubby. And tomorrow it’s back to business with a super-secret meeting about a collaboration that’s so dreamy, I almost can’t believe it’s real. Thank you all for your support, kind words and willingness to embrace this big vintage love of mine. Here’s to many more years to come! -Elizabeth
